I have been visiting family and friends here for around 8 years. It's a campground for those who like to party and have a good time. They are not overly strict with the rules and seasonal campers are given preferential treatment. There are kids and kid friendly activities and some trails are quieter than others (talk to staff or seasonals to find out which is which). The owners are fairly new at being owners from what I've heard and I've seen things gradually improve. 2017 is the first year with a ranger with a patrol car who will pull people over without passes on their mirrors and for speeding. Bathrooms and showers are cleaner and in better shape than ever but if you want to camp you can't expect top notch conditions. Overall I have always had a good time at 3 Valley.
As for other reviews, there is a ranger and he patrols the campground. if you're not supposed to be there he will escort you out. that is for security reasons. if you would have stopped at the store at the entrance and asked to take a tour they would have given you a mirror hanger for you to take a tour and a map. Since you did not do that they don't know why you are there and what you are doing. its just like walking on someone elses property.
Very friendly atmosphere. The owners and staff are very nice and accommodating. Lots of fun events throughout the Summer, for both kids and adults. Excellent place to bring your kids!
The review about bugs. man you really shouldn't be camping if you don't want to be around bugs. you're in the woods. there is nothing the staff can do to keep the bugs from getting in cabins.
Been going there for a while and always have a great camping experience. They do a nice job for kids activities. All the seasonals are friendly and helpful. We tried a new spot this year in fox cove and the people there are just amazing. Will return soon.
So if you enjoy spending time with your family in nature you will enjoy it here. Also, a huge perk is they don't try to nickle and dime you when you have your friends up. they're free (just have them get a pass at the store)
Absolutely one of the most fabulous campgrounds we've ever camped at!! The owners are amazing, all the fellow campers are so friendly. Everybody looks out for one another and everybody's there to help one another if and when needed just love it!!
Great campground, we are 1st year seasonals and love it so far. a lot of young kids around for my daughters to play with. they have lots of activities and all around just a lot of fun.
